Graphology

What is Handwriting Analysis?

Graphology, or handwriting analysis, is the examination of a person’s handwriting in order to ascertain their personality. In the same way that a psychiatrist listens to memories, a graphologist examines the marks left on paper by the writer’s pen; much like a psychologist does with the brain. They convey a great deal of information because they are the result of a lifetime of deliberate and unintentional movements.

Graphology is gaining popularity throughout the world, with graphologists providing character assessments, compatibility studies, and aptitude assessments to professionals such as psychotherapists, psychiatrists, marriage and family counselors, and vocational counselors. When used properly, it can be an effective tool for employee selection and resolving workplace conflicts.

You can educate yourself, and once you do, you will discover a wealth of information about yourself, the people you care about, your friends, and your professional life. To complete a handwriting analysis, all you’ll need is a pencil, paper, a ruler (ideally transparent with ruled lines), and a magnifying glass. As graphologists, we examine the tempo to ascertain whether it is fast or slow, uneven or even, and whether the author intended it or not. They provide insight into the author’s most private thoughts and emotions.
